Arthritis is a very common disease.
Nevertheless, we are not fully “understand”. The word “arthritis” in front of us there picture of the swollen and twisted fingers.
In fact, under this name hides more than 100 varieties of this disease. That is, the symptoms vary widely, and we are not always talking about one and the same.
In addition, arthritis affects not only older people, from it nobody is insured, neither the youth nor the athletes, or even children who have found rheumatoid arthritis.
Do not forget about osteoarthritis, the most common type of arthritis in which cartilage loses its strength and mobility.
Unfortunately, arthritis cannot be cured completely under “treatment” means only the daily struggle for a better quality of life to disease is not so much interfered with usual activities.
Arthritis is inflammatory, infectious or metabolic, but in any case, before treatment you should consult with a good specialist.
Experts give a very simple advice: take care of your nutrition. If you start your day with the right Breakfast, it can greatly help you.
Of course, there is no concern about the diet and strict diet will not cure arthritis, but nutrients in certain foods will help to achieve the following:
To reduce the inflammation.
To strengthen the joints.
To ensure the nutrition of the cartilage tissues.
To stimulate the production of collagen.
To strengthen the immune system.
Let’s see what foods should be included in your diet (at Breakfast), to start your day in the best way.
Most types of berries, in principle, very useful, but there are those that are especially useful with arthritis, namely, strawberry, cherry, blueberry, plum and red grape.
They are rich in antioxidants and ascorbic acid (one form of vitamin C).
Anthocyanins and carotenoids of the berries, as well as numerous other compounds to help us fight free radicals that cause inflammation.
It is best to eat the berries fresh. But given the fact that some of them are seasonal, we can’t eat throughout the year, you can buy frozen. Despite the fact that the amount of vitamins in them is much less, they will still be useful.
2. Coffee? Yes, please
Don’t worry, from coffee to refuse is not necessary, even if you suffer from arthritis. If you drink it in moderation, especially in the morning, it will even benefit.
Coffee is rich in antioxidants polyphenols. They protect the cells in our body from damage, and improve heart health.
To get from coffee benefit, you need to remember not to add white sugar, cream, or whole milk. If you absolutely need a sweet drink, add brown sugar, honey, coconut oil or any kind of plant milk (e.g. oat).
3. Whole grains
Highly recommended to eat for Breakfast foods that contain whole grains.
Refined grains, in contrast, deprived of the germ, which contains the largest number of vitamins, minerals and protein concentrates.
If you plan to use white bread and baked goods made with white flour, this will only exacerbate inflammation in the joints. So please note the following Breakfast options:
Amaranth. This grain is rich in protein, has a very pleasant taste similar to nuts and can make a delicious Breakfast cereal.
Oatmeal. A win-win. Mix it with strawberries, apples or honey and enjoy the wonderful taste.
Buckwheat. It is very rich in protein, greshnaya flour you can cook delicious crepes or pancakes.
Quinoa. This is a wonderful product to combat inflammation caused by arthritis.
4. Carrot juice
If you have not yet chosen the best juice for Breakfast and unsure then here it is — carrot.
Its antioxidants, carotenoids, vitamins C, D and K and minerals will take care of your joints, and will promote the synthesis of collagen. It’s just incredible!
Surprised? Or maybe you have them already a long time to eat? If so, then great, because the handful of pistachio nuts a day will take care of the health of your bones and joints.
Pistachio is a natural source of protein, which cannot be overlooked if you suffer from arthritis.
They are rich in calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin E and alpha-linolenic acid. This, in turn, allows to strengthen the immune system of our body.
In conclusion, I would like to add that ideally, stick to a varied and balanced diet.
