The use of mushrooms prolong your youth
Regular intake of mushrooms, particularly white, prolongs youth, since they contain two antioxidants that slow down aging.
The scientists determined that mushrooms contain large amounts of antioxidants rich in ergothioneine and glutathione. These substances eliminate a negative effect of free radicals.

The scientist pointed out that the excess of free radicals is associated with the risk of developing diseases such as cancer, coronary heart disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
The number ergothioneine and glutathione differed significantly among different species of fungi, the greatest amount of these substances, scientists have found in white mushrooms.
Other studied species such as mushrooms, had fewer antioxidants than white mushrooms, but more than other types of products.
At the same time, thermal processing of mushrooms in cooking time had no significant effect on the content of antioxidants, scientists say.
“Rich in ergothioneine is very stable at high temperatures,” – said Bilman.
