The White house said that the presidents discussed how to bring a lasting peace in Ukraine.
The US President Donald trump and the Russian head Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation discussed the situation in the Donbas.
As reported on the official Kremlin website, the sides mainly discussed the situation in Syria, although not deprived of attention and the subject of Ukraine.
“When considering a crisis situation in the Southeast of Ukraine the President of Russia drew attention to the lack of real alternatives to the unconditional implementation of the Minsk agreements of February 12, 2015”, – said the press service of the Russian President.
In the White house, in turn, noted that the presidents discussed how to bring a lasting peace in Ukraine.
Also at the meeting there were opinions about the state of Affairs on the Korean Peninsula. Leaders, in particular, emphasized the desirability of finding a solution through diplomatic means.
