Ukrainian film about the school in the ATO zone received the Grand Prix at the Berlinale.
The film “School No. 3”, which showed the lives of children in front of the school in the Donbass, won a prestigious award at the Berlinale film festival as best feature film.
This was announced on the official movie page in Facebook.
“The Grand Prix of the International jury generation 14+ at the Berlinale 67 for the best feature film went to “School # 3″! For the sake of peace in Ukraine and around the world!” – noted the authors.
The movie consists of monologues of children who go to school in the combat zone. “School No. 3” removed on motives of the play “mykolaivka”, which was staged by “Theatre of immigrants.” It was filmed jointly by Ukraine and Germany, Directors were Georg genoux and Elizabeth Smith.
