The ban on Russian imports will take effect in a month.
Ukraine introduced a complete ban on the import of petrochemical products of the two major Russian companies RusVinyl (Nizhny Novgorod) and Kaustik (Volgograd) 4 April 2017. This writes the profile publication OilMarket with reference to the decision of the Ministry of economic development and trade.
The company RusVinyl produces suspension, emulsion polyvinyl chloride and caustic soda. Caustic and produces a range of petrochemical products, in particular suspension PVC and kustikova soda.
It is noted that in April-may 2017 it is planned to launch Karpatneftekhim, which is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of PVC and caustically soda.
