The Ukrainian foreign Ministry argued that the shelling of the Polish Consulate General in Lutsk is a provocation.
The Ministry of foreign Affairs received a note of protest from Poland due to the explosion at the Polish Consulate General in Lutsk.
This was reported by press Secretary of the foreign Ministry Marian Betz.
Tonight, luck fired at the Consulate General of Poland. The building was fired, presumably from a grenade launcher.
“Yes (received a note of protest – ed.) in connection with the attack, which was perpetrated against the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk the night of 29 March, which the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine strongly condemns. The Polish side sent a note,” she said.
According to her, the Ukrainian foreign Ministry also summoned the Ukrainian Ambassador in Warsaw to the foreign Ministry.
“We had proven the position that this is another provocation, which undoubtedly has the purpose of harming the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Poland” – said Betz.
She added that the biggest concern is the fact that this crime could harm the life and health of the employees of the Consulate and residents of the surrounding buildings.
