The decision on the introduction of tariffs for transportation and distribution of natural gas was to apply from 1 April.
The national Commission, which regulates energy and utilities reversed the decision on the fees for gas.
This was stated by the head of Dmitry NKREKU wolf at the Commission meeting.
“We have our decision, which was accepted and which should apply from 1 April completely change, cancel. It is identical thing,” he said.
We will remind, the national Commission on 28 March in Ukraine has introduced a monthly fee for gas for the population and industrial users. From April 1 the price for gas for the population was to be divided into two components: the price of gas as a commodity (4 942 UAH/thousand cubic meters, plus a marginal mark-up getpostalcode company 3.2%) and the monthly fee for connecting to networks.
In the proposed rate (about 92 USD per month) was laid down costs “Ukrtransgaz” gas transportation trunk pipelines to distribution systems (about 23% in the tariff structure).
The Minister of social policy Andrei Reva said that the introduction of a license fee will not increase gas prices, but Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman reported that the price increase will still come, and it will be significant.
On April 4, President Petro Poroshenko said that the decision to anoplate must be suspended. The national Commission has promised to find a compromise solution.
