According to witnesses, police arrested more than 30 people.
In Russian-annexed Crimea, the security forces detained more than three dozen activists. This was reported on the page “Crimean solidarity” in Facebook.
Hundreds of activists took to the pickets with the requirement to stop the lawlessness of law enforcers, searches, arrests and kidnappings.
People stood with posters on which was written: “the Crimean Tatars are not terrorists”, “Stop lawlessness of security forces in the Crimea”, “Freedom to political prisoners”, etc.
According to the organization, the security forces detained the activists in Siferopol, Feodosia, Alushta, Dzhankoy, in the town of Old Crimea, in the village Kirovskoe, near the village Verhnesadovoe, and in the Leninsky district.
It is noted that the local police had arrested at least 31 participants of demonstrations.
“As of 16:45 most of the detainees already released, but the detention took place with a large number of violations (was not read the rights of detainees were not given the opportunity to use the services of lawyers, forced to be fingerprinted, etc.)” – informs “the Crimean solidarity”.
