Scientists have found that the star of Orion P5 is similar to the triangle.
Exploring space has set a new fun fact about the features of the known science of the stars. So, the celestial body Pi5 Orion, as it turned out, consists of two dwarves and has the shape of a triangle.
The standard view of any star suggests the analogy with the Sun. That is, people are usually speaking about the heavenly bodies, mean spherical object. Usually, all that is, but, as shown by studies in recent years, there are exceptions.
For example, recently astronomers discovered that a star called Pi5 Orion has the shape of a triangle. The unusual structure is due to the fact that the light consists of two objects – the blue giant and the dwarf. Both of them are similar to triaxial ellipsoids, and work together to form a well-recognizable figure. Scientists claim that this form was the result of the rapid rotation of stars around its axis. In the end, the stars got a wide base and a rather sharp nose.
