The hornet sting was the cause of death for 48-lynell resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
In the management of civil protection of the region told that yesterday, September 14 in the district hospital took the resident of the village of Potochyshche, in Gorodenkivska area. The man was bitten by a hornet. However all efforts of doctors to no avail – the victim died from the bite.
The Ministry reported: “In recent years, rescuers almost daily destroy a hornets nest in the Carpathian region. In particular, on September 14 in the wall of one of the houses in the court had also discovered the nest of these aggressive insects.
The venom of this insect is considered one of the most dangerous to humans. He has a very strong effect of pain, as the venom composition include histamine and acetylcholine. The bite causes severe swelling and can lead to anaphylactic shock, the result of the victim you can not make it to take to the hospital.
