Volkswagen has revealed the electric car of the future.
Volkswagen has unveiled an experimental electric car called Gen.E. The prototype can give an idea about future cars of the German mark, in particular, on the Golf of the next generation.
The public debut of the novelty will take place on September 12 in Frankfurt.
Novelty is a three-door hatchback with four-seater cabin doors opening on the principle of “gull wings”, and a separate led daytime running lights in the style of the elements of the electric vehicle Golf E.
Based on Volkswagen Gen.E is “innovative lightweight architecture”, which will provide maximum security for vehicles with large batteries in a collision.
At the front of the car installed a set of sensors and radars, and under the windshield is visible to the video camera. It is assumed that the equipment for the system of semiautomatic control.
