Archaeologists also found traces of destroyed houses and pottery shards
In Scotland, the staff of the archaeological organization of GUARD Archaeology found on the construction of a football field decorated with gold spear age of about 3000 years.
Archaeologists called the builders. They came across the artifacts in the construction of the football field for the school from the town of Carnoustie. Of land was removed from the bronze sword, wooden scabbard, some jewelry and a spear.
The latter is made of bronze, but elaborately decorated with ornaments of gold.
For example, the same artifact was discovered on a farm near Dundee in 1963. The analysis showed that the tip was made in the period from 1000 to 800 BC
“Gold ornament makes this finding extremely important, – said the head of the archaeological group Alan Blair. But other artifacts are of great interest. Surprisingly, for example, that the preserved wooden scabbard, lain in the ground for so many years”.
Probably all of the weapons found belonged to one person. Archaeologists also found traces of destroyed houses and pottery shards. Presumably, at this place in different times there were several settlements.
