Monetization for saved resources in the fall of 2017 will pay 2 million households.
In Ukraine in 2017 will be held on the monetization of subsidies for payment for housing and communal services. Compensation payments to consumers who have not used the amount of gas and electricity under the norms of consumption.
The innovation will affect the residents of houses with individual gas and electrical heating.
Such rules approved by the resolution of Cabinet of Ministers No. 300 36 April 2017.
To whom and how much money will be paid in September 2017
According to the Ministry of social policy of Ukraine, and the monetization can pay 2 million households. “Citizens who have saved resources, have until 1 September to apply to the social security authorities with the appropriate application and provide details of Bank account or post office where you can transfer funds. Their disbursement will be in September-October this year”, – said the Director of the Department of state of social assistance Ministry of social policy of Ukraine Vitaliy Muzychenko.
The official said that consumers will pay a sum equivalent to 150 kW of electricity and 100 cubic meters of natural gas. Consumers can receive compensation in the amount of:
135 UAH for the electric power;
700 UAH — for natural gas.
How to get compensation
Compensation intend to pay from 1 September. Vitaly Muzychenko told how to get money to consumers that have saved energy, but were not included in the lists for monetization. Ukrainians have to contact the company-service provider with a request to make name in the additional list. Also consumers can provide information on the savings from subsidies to protection of the population. “Based on this, the Department of social protection may ask the service provider – why such a citizen was not included in the relevant lists,” the official said.
The efficiency of monetization
Monetization will stimulate subsidianes, save energy and implement energy efficiency measures in housing. According to the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko, next year the amount of compensation for saving gas and electricity may increase. Subsidiary, reducing the consumption of energy, not to overuse gas and electricity, should be an incentive in the form of monetary compensation.
