Italian automaker Lamborghini has officially unveiled the Urus SUV.
The ceremony was held at the company’s factory in the Italian town Sant’agata Bolognese. This is the second model of the terrain in the company’s history after it produced a limited series from 1986 to 1992 LM002.
Lamborghini Urus has a new 4-liter 650-horsepower gasoline engine V8 with two turbochargers. The maximum speed of 305 kilometers per hour; acceleration from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour takes 3.6 seconds. According to the company Urus is the fastest SUV in the world. The company representatives emphasize the sporty character of the car and take it to a new class of Super Sports Utility Vehicle (SSUV, “utilitarian Supersports car”) — in contrast to the traditional designation of this class of cars Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV “sports utility vehicle”).
“Lamborghini Urus — the embodiment of the idea of creating the most practical car nature Lamborghini SUV. Urus sets new standards and is the first of its kind super SUV (SSUV). The company Automobili Lamborghini was founded in 1963, its headquarters is located in Italian town Sant’agata Bolognese.
