In Odessa starting on 21 February, the Ukrainian passport will be issued only in the form of a plastic card. About it reported in a press-service of the city Council.
“Center of administrative services of the Odessa city Council will stop accepting documents for issuance of passports of the old sample” the message reads.
Now instead of Odessa will receive an ID card with contactless electronic media.
The document of a new sample can be obtained in connection with the loss or theft of passport, an achievement of 14 or 16 years of age, change of name or worn-out passport.
Upon reaching 25 and 45 years of age, you can leave the old passport or to exchange it for a card.
