Independence Day in Kyiv will take place the “Race to the embroidered”
Independence Day of Ukraine in the Russian capital for the fourth time will be held the traditional “Race to the embroidered”.
Writes nashkiev.ua run on this day not only Kyiv, but other Ukrainian cities: Lviv, Odessa, Kharkiv, Rivne, Mykolaiv and the Dnieper. In addition to cross country action will be joined by the Ukrainian Diaspora from new York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Toronto, Munich and Australia.
In the capital the race will begin at 9:00 on August 24 rusanovskaya embankment.
Distances will be a few. Children under 6 years will run 100 m, children 7 to 10 years — 500 m, adult — 5 and 10 km everyone can participate in the charity run on 1 km.
“Race in embroidery” is a vibrant, Patriotic, family event that unites Ukrainians on this special day. The main attributes of the race, symbolizing freedom and independence of our country, will become the most beautiful national embroidery, in which participants will overcome the selected distance,” write the organizers.
In preparation for the race from 9 July to 20 August planned series of cross-country training, to join which will be able to attend. Training will be held on rusanovskaya embankment. Admission is free.
