11 June in Kiev was held the first parade of the fashionable dogs in the world breed Jack Russell Terrier.
The event was attended by over 500 participants.
Marched through Khreshchatyk from the Ukrainian house to the building of the Kyiv city state administration (KSCA). The organizers of the event chose the winners in two nominations – the best Jack Russell, best costume, best couple. Some owners of Jack-Russells, for the sake of participation in the Kiev parade came from the USA and came from other cities. The Creator of the breed Jack Russell Terrier is considered a British priest Jack Russell, who in the early nineteenth century began to improve the hunting qualities of a normal Fox Terrier. He managed to take the dog, which became very popular among hunters and farmers. In the twentieth century, Jack Russell Terriers were in continental Europe, then spread throughout the world.

Cheerful, agile and quick-witted dog named Milo he was a movie star. Then the dog breed Jack Russell Terrier starred in the movie “problem child-2”. But the most famous was the dog, Uggie, who starred in the films “the Artist” and “Water for elephants!”. For her role in the film the Artist Ugg boots received the special prize at the Cannes film festival in 2011.
