A few days of inspections, the technical Commission has identified a number of violations.
For two days the Commission on technical investigation of circumstances and causes of accidents checked taxis of Kiev on 11 routes. Among the revealed violations – fails technical specifications stated in the contest, the discrepancy between the number of vehicles specified in the agreement, moreover, during a RAID busted an illegal carrier. This became known from the press service of the Kyiv city state administration (KCSA).
It is noted that the Commission for unscheduled inspections of the carriers was established the State service of Ukraine on safety on transport.
According to the report, two days was checked taxis on routes No. 464, 459, 474, 497-, 450, 437, 408, 201, 200-To, 198 and 194. In the taxi on route 201 specification is not consistent with the stated in the contest, and route No. 459 the number of vehicles did not meet the contract. Such violations are grounds for the termination of contracts with these carriers.
In addition, during the RAID caught an illegal carrier on route No. 501, which by order of the Department of transport infrastructure KSCA already closed. Also, the driver got a ticket.
“Our principled position is to replace the bus comfortable and modern public transport. For this we are updating rolling stock – purchase of buses, trolleybuses and trams, high-capacity”, – said the Director of the Department of Sergei Simonov.
The press service said that violators of the compiled acts. Unscheduled inspections of the carriers will continue for the next two weeks.
Earlier, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko has instructed the Department of transport infrastructure of Kyiv city state administration jointly with the State service of Ukraine on safety on transport to conduct a comprehensive review of licenses and compliance of the terms and standards of private carriers route taxis which operate in the capital.
Recall, November 4 at the capital on the street Heroes of Dnepr, near public transport bus No. 464 to death knocked down two people. One woman died at the scene, the second victim died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Later it became known that a traffic accident was killed by a former assistant to the rector of the National Academy of security service of Ukraine, Colonel Valery Kornienko, together with his wife. Police arrested the bus driver, under the wheels which hit the couple.
