Detained in Donbas Russian Viktor Ageev has confirmed that he was sent to East Ukraine after signing of the contract on service in the Armed forces of the Russian Federation.
“I’m in the military. Part 65246 (located in the town of Novocherkassk, is the communications regiment and the training center of Air and space forces of Russia)”, – he told in interview to “TSN. Tyzhden” on channel “1+1”.
V. Ageev has confirmed that in March of 2017 arrived in Rostov region and signed a contract on service in the Armed forces of the Russian Federation. The detained Russian came to his unit, he stayed there for four days, signed the contract and almost immediately was sent to the Donbass.
Answering the question why so quickly it was shipped to the East of Ukraine, V. Ageev said: “the Send was probably. I don’t know… I did not go deep. Sent and sent. Pay the money, and… service is service”.
Answering a question sent together with other Russian soldiers, V. Ageev noted the following: “Maybe the other and sent, but not my “flight”, that is, by another party, so to speak. I was driving and Alex (who died in captivity V. Ageeva, the commander of his group, Alexander Scherba)”.
According to “TSN”, mother of the detained Russian military Svetlana Ageeva intends to go to Ukraine and try to meet my son.
