Pensioners in Russia would live worse.
The amount of pension received in Russia is the Central topic of discussion the last few years. Particularly acute, this question arose after the occupation of Crimea by Russia in 2014, which launched a “pension reform” to freeze the funded part of pensions Russians. And this, according to the official data of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, over 30 % of Russia’s population.
The consequences of this “pension reform” has become the devastation of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation, the reduction of social benefits, recalculation of pensions and raising the retirement age.
In addition, the Ministry of labour in June 2017, the proposals on the next extension of the “freeze” of the pension system, a further phased increase in the retirement age and the cessation of payment of pensions to working pensioners. Last, it is proposed to do for those wages that exceed 200 – 400 thousand rubles a year and whose average monthly income is 2.5 times higher than the subsistence minimum in the region.
So that pensioners have to tighten their belts and strain. The berries are still ahead!
