This was stated by the owner of the company and the Turkish businessman Murat Hakan Uzan, which acquired the brand in March this year.
He months tried to keep the company afloat, but failed. Uzan reserves all rights to the brand Vertu, technology and licenses for the design.
According to the Financial Times, the businessman plans to revive the company. Today Vertu debts amount to $ 128 million. It should also be noted that due to the closure of the plant in Hampshire, the work will lose about 200 people.
