The U.S. Senate to provide Ukraine with military assistance.
The U.S. Senate on Tuesday, September 19, approved by a majority vote appropriations bill to the Pentagon, according to which Ukraine in 2018 can receive up to $150 million in military assistance. This is stated in the text of the document posted on the Congress website.
It is noted that only half of this amount, the Minister of defence has the right freely to provide Ukraine. The allocation of the remaining funds depend on the conduct of the Kyiv reforms in the field of defense.
By the way, the Pentagon budget is not the first year provide the funds to bailout Ukraine. Initially, the scrip reached $350 million.
