The establishment of passenger company will allow Ukrzaliznytsia to more efficiently manage the entire rolling stock fleet.
Branch Railways – Passenger company, which entered the passenger economy of all six regional branches, in early July of 2017 began full operation.
This is with reference to the Director of passenger transportation and service Igor Romancia, reports a press-service.
“Passenger company fully functional, with staff, which included workers farms passenger regional affiliates. The creation of a single control center passenger sector is the next stage of reforming the railway industry, when business fields are allocated by type of activity and not according to the regional principle, as it was before,” he explained.
The company’s management believes that the establishment of passenger company will allow Ukrzaliznytsia to more efficiently manage the entire rolling stock fleet and passenger complex.
Previously, regional branches of the self-directed passenger cars, and often had the situation that on some there was a shortage of wagons and other rolling stock idle. “We’ll manage the entire fleet and respond to all the needs,” explained Romanko.
According to him, for passengers such innovations are positive, as will be introduced common standards of service for passengers, gear trains, same prices for additional services in trains and at stations.
