Ukraine is finalizing the revision of all agreements with the CIS – Klimkin

Украина завершает пересмотр всех соглашений с СНГ, - КлимкинUkraine is now officially out of the list of countries of the Commonwealth and is not involved in any activities in the framework of the CIS, assured the Minister.

Ukraine is not involved in any activities within the CIS and completes the review of all agreements with the Commonwealth. On Friday, 5 April, told reporters in Kiev, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.

“I didn’t go to any of the CIS-shnye party, when we actually withdrew from the CIS”, – said Klimkin, answering a journalist’s question about whether he plans to attend today’s Congress.

According to him, Ukraine is now officially out of the list of countries of the Commonwealth and is not involved in any activities in the framework of the CIS.

“The only thing we do – we are completing a review of all agreements in such a way to “kill” all the transactions that we do not need, and leave those that are important just for Ukrainians – in the context of pensions, recognition of diplomas. The main thing we should worry people,” – said the Minister.

Earlier, Russia sent an official invitation to Ukraine to participate in the meeting of the Council of foreign Ministers of CIS States to be held on 5 April in Moscow.

The Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin previously stated that the fundamental changes in Ukraine’s foreign policy under newly elected President will not.
