The Russians continue to accumulate near the Ukrainian border.
Russia increased its military presence on the border with Ukraine by three motorized divisions, designed for rapid offensive operations.
This was stated by the chief of the General staff Viktor Muzhenko, reports the press service of the General staff in Facebook.
“This is the third (the point of permanent deployment – Valuiki), 144 (Smolensk) and 150 (Novocherkassk) infantry division. Very symbolic election of the Russian leadership, it is these compounds for deployment on a permanent basis at the Eastern borders of Ukraine”, – said the chief of staff.
According to him, organizational structure, armament, and military equipment coming into their recruitment suggests that the division is essentially a shock and is designed to conduct rapid offensive operations.
