The Japanese government began to study the issue of cancellation of visas for Ukrainian citizens. This was at the end of the visit to this country, said MP from the popular front Leonid Yemets.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Japan has begun work on the abolition of visas for Ukrainians. But Parliament promised to contribute. About the timing too early to speak, but working to the Olympic games in Tokyo (2020), the Ukrainian citizens could travel without visas,” wrote Emets in Facebook.
As reported, from midnight June 11, 2017 entered into force on visa-free regime of Ukraine with the European Union. Ukrainians with biometric passport can visit without a visa for 30 European countries: all EU countries except the UK and Ireland as well as Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway. Ukrainians can stay there up to 90 days within each 180 days.
