Turchynov has called the strike an adequate and timely response.
Secretary of the national security Council and defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov believes that the impact that caused by cruise missiles, the U.S. air base in Syria, is the adequate and timely reaction to the use of chemical weapons against civilians.
He stated this during a meeting with NATO Deputy Secretary General, rose Gottemoeller, the press service of the NSDC.
During the meeting, Turchynov and Gottemoeller also discussed the current situation during the military aggression of Russia against Ukraine. Special attention was paid to cooperation of Ukraine with NATO, security sector reform and defense of our country and its transition to NATO standards.
The parties have identified a number of strategic directions for cooperation, particularly in combating modern hybrid threats.
