MP kupriy has proposed a new date.
Extra fractional people’s Deputy Vitaliy kupriy has registered in Parliament a draft decree №10270-2 “the date, time and place of the special meeting of the Parliament dedicated to the oath of the newly elected President Vladimir Zelensky. This is stated on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
The relevant draft resolution was submitted on may 7, in the column “date and the status of the passage” the draft obtained by the Verkhovna Rada and submitted for consideration by the leadership. The text of the document is not yet available, it is not known what date the MP offers to host special meeting.
However kupriy on his page in Facebook reported that offers to hold the inauguration on 20 may. “I propose to change on the day of the date of the inauguration of Vladimir Zelensky from 19 to 20 may, in order not to overlap with the Day of memory of victims of political repressions”, – he wrote.
Thus, this is the third draft of the resolution. Previously independent deputies, Sergei Mishchenko and Viktor Baloha has submitted draft regulations which proposed the inauguration Zelensky on may 19.
