October 27 at the meeting of the humanitarian sub-group in Minsk, the Ukrainian side demanded to speed up the release of the hostages, to ensure the access of the OSCE throughout all ORDA, and open the checkpoint of Golden Lugansk region. This was stated by Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko on his page in Facebook.
“We demand to urgently unblock the release of the hostages. Has already completed the verification of persons who for any price not willing to move to ORDO. Verification is called as a prerequisite of liberation,” she wrote.
Gerashchenko added that for two months Ukraine is waiting for a response, the Russian Federation and fighters on a proposal to exchange hostages by the formula 313 88, which was confirmed by the terrorists.
She also urged the terrorists to block the opening of the checkpoint “gold”.
“We urge ORDO immediately stop artificially block the opening of the KPVV “gold”, which is ready to work from March 2016. All artificial barriers regarded as deliberate delay aimed at deteriorating humanitarian situation in the region”, – wrote Gerashchenko.
She also noted that Ukraine requires admission of the OSCE to the detainees, terrorists, Ukrainians, and requires a mechanism to search for missing persons.
