Parubiy also signed a law banning St. George ribbon.
“Despite the hysterics of those who Ukraine is a bone in the throat and trying to block the law about the Ukrainian language on Ukrainian television, this Parliament has demonstrated that we, the Ukrainian Parliament – said Parubiy during the morning session of Parliament. And today I signed the law, which provides for the mandatory share of the Ukrainian language at the national television 75%, because this law is the next step for the defense of our national space and our language. Now the war is matter of national security. I shall sign the law. The law was signed”.
Also, the speaker signed the law on the introduction of penalties “for wearing so-called St. George ribbons – the symbol of hatred and enmity.” According to Parubiy, now the ribbons are the people who “started the war against Ukraine who shoots at our soldiers who kill innocent people and those who hate Ukraine”.
“This law is one of the most important laws this week. And I also have the right to sign it in the presence of deputies. The law was signed,” – said paruby.
