This decision is connected with the initiative “parent” Sberbank of Russia to accept a passport LDNR.
The national Bank of Ukraine will initiate the application of sanctions to subsidiary Bank Sberbank of Russia in Ukraine.
The regulator points out that in the case of confirmation of information about the readiness of the parent Bank to provide services for persons who are holders of passports LDNR, the national Bank will initiate before the Council of national security and defence the question of the application of sanctions to PJSC “Sberbank”.
Earlier today the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov called for the closure of the Ukrainian savings Bank and demanded a speedy sanctions by the NBU.
“How much time the NBU to impose sanctions against Sberbank of Russia operating in Ukraine??? Consider necessary the immediate reaction of the NBU,” – wrote the Minister on his page in Facebook.
According to the Minister, is unable to operate in Ukraine, the Bank is supporting condemned by the international community recognition of documents of the puppet regimes and the annexation of Ukrainian territories.
In turn, Kiev Sberbank said that the financial institution “is a Ukrainian commercial Bank that operates strictly according to the legislation of Ukraine and the data of the passport does not serve”.
We will remind, on February 18, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the recognition of documents LDNR on the territory of the Russian Federation, ostensibly guided by “humanitarian considerations.”
