Alexander Zakharchenko declared Donetsk “capital” of “little”.
The head of the self-proclaimed “DNR” Alexander Zakharchenko said about the establishment of a new “state” – “the Ukraine”. He stated this today at a press conference.
“We believe that the state of Ukraine in the form in which it was not recoverable. We, the representatives of the former regions of Ukraine, except Crimea, declare the establishment of the new state, which is the successor of the Ukraine. We agree that the new state will be called Ruthenia, as the very name Ukraine discredited itself”, – said the head of the Donetsk separatists.
According to him, the capital of the Ukraine will be in Donetsk, but Kiev is a historical and cultural center of the capital city status.
“The national flag of Ukraine recognized the flag of Bogdan Khmelnitsky… We believe that the people’s Republic of Donetsk, along with Luhansk people’s Republic, remains the only territory of Ukraine, excluding the Crimea, which preserved the legitimate authority,” – said Zakharchenko.
He added that it is necessary to enter in the “country” state of emergency for three years.
“In view of the avoidance of chaos, we propose to introduce a state of emergency for three years, during this time, banned all parties, in the same period begin the investigation with the assistance of the international community on the crimes in Odessa on the Maidan in the Donbass. This solution matured long ago, but all the time, and exactly today, we offer the option that will stop the war,” – said Zakharchenko.
The leader of “DNR” offers the people of Ukraine, “the reestablishment of the country.”
“It’s a peaceful way. But there are a few conditions – he should be supported by the residents of Ukraine. We have already held consultations with representatives of government and business regions, and if the international community will support the idea. This is the first and last of our offer”, – said Zakharchenko.
He believes that the government in Kiev is not legitimate and is not able to stop the war. Zakharchenko said that the situation in the Donbas came to a dead-end, struck up “the node that is to be cut anymore”.
