The Prosecutor’s office of Donetsk region began pre-trial investigation into the injury of seven policemen at the roadblock near Slavyansk.
As reported on the website of the Prosecutor’s office, March 14, around 19:30 on the road Kiev – dolzhanskiy police stopped a convoy of 13 cars. During verification of documents at 80 passengers of these vehicles, among which was the people’s Deputy Vladimir Parasyuk, there was a conflict.
“Came out the MP Parasyuk and threats, obscenities began to insult the police and to try by their actions to provoke a fight. When one him it failed, he gave the command to his men, who arrived together with him in the column, in fact, a citizen of the parasiuk led the attack on the police”, – quotes the press service of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the company commander of special forces of the police of the Donetsk region Yuri Golubina.
The attack was allegedly attended by about 40-45 people. As a result several policemen received injuries.
“Special forces officer was hit by a car of people’s Deputy, now he was taken to hospital. Another two policemen were injured, two officers were struck by tear gas, suffered serious burns to the face,” he said, Goluban.
Case qualified under article 345 of the Criminal code – using violence against a law enforcement officer.
