Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oksana Rawfoodist filed to the Prosecutor General and the security Service of Ukraine on the fact of capture of Parliament.
“As soon as law enforcement have the right or the opportunity to illegally enter the territory of Parliament, we can say that the democracy will cease to exist. I deemed the capture of Parliament and stands the situation where in a sessional hall became the men in camouflage uniforms and headed to the podium. And I was forced to adjourn the sitting today,” said Rawfoodist.
She noted that already applied to the GPU and the SBU in connection with this event. According to her, the Agency must conduct an investigation: who planned these acts and for what purpose.
Raw foodists also called the illegal seizure of the rostrum.
“I don’t know what’s going on there, but someone gave permission to turn on the microphones in the hall of parliamentary sessions, and unknown people involved. Individual MPs, in fact, usurped the functions of the speaker and the Deputy speaker continue what you heard in the plenary hall,” she said.
In turn, the Deputy head of the faction of the popular front Andrei Teteruk said that the Parliament will consider the deprivation of Oksana Rawfoodist the post of Deputy speaker.
“Deputy speaker of Parliament Syroid afraid of the truth that will sound from the direct participants of events, which defended the rule of law in the area of the ATO. She was scared that those destructive actions of deputies from Samopomich, unaffiliated, at last, become known to the public. Therefore, fearing this truth, hiding behind false reasons for closing, closed the meeting and fled. The behavior is shameful and the Parliament will consider the question of depriving it of this post,” – said Teteruk.
