The EU also noted that a decree on Russia’s recognition of the documents issued in the “Republic” not in the spirit of the Minsk agreements.
The EU does not recognize the documents of the self-proclaimed “DNR” and “LNR” and will not let their owners.
This was stated by speaker of the European external action service Maya Kosyanchich.
“We continue to support the territorial integrity, sovereignty and unity of Ukraine and the full implementation of the Minsk agreements. We also have said that the travel documents not recognised by the European Union,” she said.
The EU also noted that a decree on Russia’s recognition of the documents of the LC and the DNI (signed 18 February-ed.) is not consistent with the spirit of the Minsk agreements.
