Water shortage will last for another three years, say the so-called authorities of the Peninsula.
Despite the reserves in the reservoirs of the Peninsula more than in the same period of 2016, the residents may experience water shortages. The Director of the Department of state policy and regulation in the field of water resources and Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Russia Dmitry Kirillov.
According to officials, water will be enough locals and visitors. But the problem arises due to rational use of water, since 80% of this resource is used in the housing sector. The government of Crimea has already provided for the installation of water meters.
To eliminate the plan deficit by 2020, when it will be ready conduit that excess will provide water to the Eastern Crimea.
“The conduit will provide up to 200 thousand cubic meters of water per day. The Eastern Crimea after the cessation of water flow from the territory of Ukraine is experiencing the most problems. But this year the region will be provided with water due to three built in 2017 intakes. The water is already gone, but on a temporary basis,” – said Kirillov.
