Director Orbakaite gave his version of the cancellation of the concert in Kiev.
Director of the Russian singer Kristina Orbakaite, Alexander Kachan believes that the performance of Ukraine was postponed because of internal instability in the country.
“Honestly, I’m not very familiar with the internal situation with them, but we, in turn, were willing to go in order to secure the friendship of peoples. But I again want to emphasize that this initiative (to cancel the concert) completely came from the Kiev side. I don’t know what their internal contradictions. They called us and said that it would be better. In details we didn’t say about, but I think the reasons in their internal instability, everything is on the surface,” said Kachan.
He added that he personally did not call anybody and didn’t threaten.
“I know that some public organizations were against it, but there are such public organizations a million, but it is important for us that between our fraternal peoples was peace and harmony — the art of politics. On the Internet I saw that the opponents of the concert, Christina Aguilera was in Odessa, but on this occasion we their plans have not changed. When we were asked to postpone the concert in Kiev, then moved all at once”, – said the Director of Aguilera.
