KCSA has abandoned the project of construction of waste incineration plants in Kyiv region.
Kyiv city state administration plans to build waste treatment plants on the street. The red banner in goloseyevsky area on the street and collector in Darnytskyi district.
About this in comments to UKRINFORM correspondent said the Deputy Chairman of the KCSA Petr Panteleyev.
“The city plans to build several waste treatment plants. This year we are starting to design two recycling plant that will accept the city’s trash,” said Panteleev.
According to him, one of the plants will appear in the Shevchenko district on the street of the red banner, and the second will be built on a street Collector on the left Bank of Kiev.
“We have a goal to plant Energy not burned all the garbage that it is pre-sorted, selected organic fraction, burned only what can be burned. Such approaches are now embedded in Europe”, – said the Deputy Chairman of the KSCA.
He also said that the KSCA has abandoned the project of construction of waste incineration plants in Kyiv region, in particular, in the village of Pidhirtsi.
“To build an incinerator, no one will, because the motivation of these plants – the simultaneous selling of heat. It is not economically feasible. Recycling is possible. But this issue must be addressed with the local community,” said Panteleev.
