A former employee of Apple has posted pictures of a device called “the Machine to calibrate iPhone”. The device is used to service the company’s products directly from the Apple store.
“Machine calibration iPhone” is installed in every store of the company, but about its existence know the few. The source said that the use of these devices began after the release of the iPhone 5s.
“It was a big clunky machine that looked like it gathered in the back yard,” the former employee told the Apple support Genius. According to him, prior to installation of the smartphone had to adjust the machine for half an hour, and inside was a dangerous liquid that should have been worn with gloves.
