Sony Corp. will begin mass production of the vinyl before 1 April 2018
As expected, Sony Corp. will begin mass production of the vinyl before 1 April 2018. For this factory Sony Music Entertainment Japan was equipped with a special mold for casting vinyl.
This decision the company attributed the growing popularity of phonograph records in the Country of the rising sun in the last few years. So, in 2016, was made almost 800 thousand vinyl records, while in 2010, there were cast only 105 thousand.
We also recall that last year along with Sony, another Japanese company Panasonic has returned to the market players records. Sony for the first time in eight years, has released a new model that allows you to digitize vinyl. Panasonic has introduced a record player for the first time since 2010.
