Russia rejected a proposal by the Eurovision organizers about remote participation Samoilova in the competition.
Russia did not accept the proposal of the European broadcasting Union on the participation of the Russian singer Yulia Samoilova in the Eurovision song contest in Kiev.
The statement of the First channel said that the proposal is strange, as contrary to the rules of the event to perform live on the stage of the contest”Eurovision”.
In addition, it is emphasized that “country-the broadcaster must provide an opportunity for all participants to obtain a visa for the whole period of the event”.
Thus Samoylova would violate the rules of the contest.
