Violating the Geneva Convention, the Russian Federation deals with the migration of peoples from Siberia to the Crimea.
This was stated by people’s Deputy Irina Friz in a meeting of the inter-Parliamentary Council Ukraine-NATO in Kiev.
“What nationalities currently occupy the Crimea is of Buryatia, the Mordvinians. Specifically, it Dzhankoy. This is the kind of information that I know for sure,” she said.
Frieze referred to in article 49 of the Geneva Convention, according to which the occupying state must not transfer or deportation of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.
