Lavrov acknowledged the participation of Russia in “conflict” in the Donbass.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov, speaking at the second International scientific-expert forum “Primakov readings” in Moscow, said the criticism of Russia for participation in the conflict in the Donbass and Syria.

“It all depends on who is looking at a particular situation. I do not know whether the perceived in the political community that we are “playing out of my League”. I read and still hear the criticism that we knowingly got into the conflict in the Donbass, in the Syrian conflict,” said Lavrov, answering the question about Russia’s ability to compromise in international politics.
According to him, if the authorities of the Russian Federation “threw Russians and Russian speakers” in Ukraine, “betrayed their civilization.”
Earlier, Lavrov promised “not to let down” residents of the Russian-occupied Donbas.
“Our efforts will continue to be designed to not allow “hot heads” in Kiev to start in the South-East of the country a new round of violence. In any case, the residents of Donbas in trouble we will not leave”, – said the Minister.
