In “PrivatBank” have to “inject” an additional 30 billion hryvnia.
The head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva reported that “PrivatBank” will require a capital increase of 3 billion hryvnia.

In a press-service reported that, speaking during the round table “banking sector Reform in Ukraine: achievements, challenges and prospects” organized by the analytical center of the AtlanticCouncil in Washington (USA), Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva commented on the audit of PrivatBank and stressed that no final audit results have not been published officially.
“Of course, as head of the Central Bank I am already familiar with the preliminary results of the report. And these results are even worse than we previously expected. 146 billion is not all funds have to invest the state in the capitalization of “PrivatBank” through all the violations and fraudulent transactions that had occurred in the previous shareholders. I can tell you that last night (before the procedure, enter the state in the Bank’s capital) were held (previous management) fraudulent transactions totalling more than 16 billion hryvnia, ” – said V. Gontareva.
V. Gontareva also noted that the Bank would require a capital increase to 30 billion hryvnia.
“According to the final official results of the audit to be published before the end of this month, it may be that the capital requirement will be more. We together with the Ministry of Finance as owner of the Bank, based on these final results, we determine what amount of money is additionally required by the Bank ”, – said V. Gontareva.
