Parliamentarians intend to make a change in the calendar plan of work of the sixth session of the Verkhovna Rada. The main goal is to cancel or at least delay the start date of the summer vacation.
Ten deputies, among them – representatives of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko Sergey Leshchenko, Mustafa Nayem, and Svitlana zalishchuk, MP from the “Fatherland” Alena Shkrum, MP from the “Samopomich” Yegor Sobolev propose to extend the current session of the Verkhovna Rada until August 15.
“Until the end of the current parliamentary session there were five (!) session days. That time is not enough, so Parliament had to consider the General Prosecutor’s office on the lifting of parliamentary immunity with Oles Dovgy, Borislav Rosenblatt, Maksym Polyakov, Andriy Lozovoy and Yevhen Deydey. The full procedure can take up to 25 days. Petro Poroshenko and Oleksandr Turchynov we also promised to consider in Parliament the draft laws on the legal status of the occupied territories,” wrote on his page on “Facebook” MP Mustafa Nayem.
Another similar decision has registered the people’s deputies Igor artyushenko and Dmitry Lubinets. They propose to extend the session until 30 August.
“Vote (this decision) will show who of my colleagues rolling his sleeves ready to work, and for whom the mandate is nothing more than ways of reception of preferences”, – said the Deputy artyushenko.
