Recall that the film is an adaptation of a detective novel Peter Ackroyd “the Process of Elizabeth Cree” (in the USA the book was published under the name of “Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem”). The script was written by Jane Goldman (“the Woman in black,” “House of strange children Miss peregrine”), directed by Juan Carlos Medina (“Insensitive”), and starring bill Nighy (“underworld,” “pirates of the Caribbean”), Olivia Cooke (“Bates Motel”, “Ouija: Board of the Devil”), Sam Reid (“Modern Reaper”) and Douglas Booth (“Pride and prejudice and zombies”).
Victorian London, 1880. Dangerous area of the city, the London eye, the stunning series of brutal murders.
