“Thief in law “Artyom Arakelyan, nicknamed “Lipetsk” sentenced to 17 years in prison for the murder in Moscow criminal authority, also condemned members of his gang.
The investigation established that A. Arakelyan, living in the suburban town of Mytishchi, wanted to expand its influence in the Lipetsk region and to do this in 2011, he created an organized criminal group (OCG), which attracted Suren Aghababyan, Sergey Baranov, Denis Panin, Dreev and at least eight unidentified persons.
The purpose of the criminal group was the murder of one of criminal authorities of the Lipetsk region. To do this, the criminals under false pretenses invited him to come to Moscow, and then kidnapped him and his accompanying people and took them to the tire store in Mytishchi. There are criminals in turn at least five times and shot in the head crime boss and his body concealed in the water reservoir. The rest of the people were released. They took mobile phones, valuables and car.
In 2013, Arakelyan, Aghababyan, Baranov and Denis Panin was detained. Depending on the role of each court found them guilty of the murder by an organized group, abduction, unlawful taking of a vehicle without the purpose of theft, and illegal trafficking in firearms and ammunition. Dreev, was declared the Federal wanted list.
“The verdict of the Prosecutor appointed punishment in the form of 17 years of imprisonment with serving in a corrective colony of strict regime, Aghababian – in the form of 18 years of imprisonment with serving in a colony, Baranov – in the form of 13 years of imprisonment with serving in a colony of strict regime, Panin – in the form of 15 years of imprisonment with serving in a colony of strict regime”, — stated in the message.
In addition, the victim will receive compensation for moral damages in the amount of 250 thousand rubles to each of the convicts.
