Night in a call center of police S. Slobidka received a call informing them about the murder of 34-year-old local resident. Arrived at the emergency cops found the corpse of a man and his stepfather who confessed to committing serious crimes.
This was told in the press service of GUNP Kharkiv region.
According to preliminary data of the police, during investigation, it was found that the two men drank alcohol in his house. On the background of intoxication of reason and the conflict between the two, the murder occurred. Stepson grabbed his axe and wanted to kill his stepfather, but he retreated in time and armed with a loaded gun fired. Wound for the young men were not compatible with life.
At the moment the investigation is conducting a number of examinations. Instituted criminal proceedings under article 115 UK of Ukraine “premeditated murder”. Perhaps the court recognizes the man partially guilty in the committed crime, as he alleges that he was defending himself. But drunkenness, which was a stepfather and his stepson, is a weight factor that can affect the verdict. In any case, the man is threatened by punishment in the form of imprisonment for the term from 7 till 15 years.
