In the Parliament are six parties.
The party of the current Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel wins the election to the Bundestag (32,5%). Second place for the social Democrats 20%, third place for right populist party “Alternative for Germany” of 13.5%.
According to the preliminary data of the Institute Infratest Dimap released after the polls closed on Sunday by TV channel ARD, the Christian democratic Union (CDU) and Christian social Union (CSU) amounted to 32.5%.
Social democratic party of Germany (SPD) supported 20% of voters, right populist party “Alternative for Germany” was supported by 13,5%, the party “Left” – 9%, the party of the free Democrats (FDP) – 10.5%, and the party “Soyuz-90″/”green” – 9,5 %.
The rest of the party get projected less than 5% needed to enter Parliament.
