The war will supposedly be the answer to clashes with North Korea.
The military command of the Russian Federation and China likely are preparing a joint plan of fighting in the event of a US invasion of the Korean Peninsula.
This is stated in the material edition of Newsweek.
Former Deputy commander in the Western military district of China, Lieutenant General Wang hongwen declared that war on the Korean Peninsula could begin at any moment. It is also noted that reducing tension on the Peninsula cannot be expected until March 2018, and the recent joint Russian-Chinese exercises show willingness to confront the United States.
“China should be psychologically prepared for a possible Korean war, and North-Eastern regions of China must be mobilized for this purpose. Such mobilization is not the beginning of the war, she has solely the defensive end,” said hongwen.
Also quoted Chinese military expert sun Junping, which called the exercises of China and Russia efforts to protect against a possible attack of the United States.
“The main target of the joint exercises China and Russia are the United States, because America has ballistic and cruise missiles that can pose a real threat to Beijing and Moscow,” – said the expert, adding that Russia and China want to force the US to move its THAAD missile defense system from the Korean Peninsula.
